Terms and Conditions: Pricing and Structure
Single lessons
- Single lessons are charged at a fixed hourly rate.
- The total cost for the month is invoiced at month-end and payable 7 days after the invoice has been sent.
- In the case of a cancellation of less than 3 hours in advance or no-show (without a valid reason/ excuse), 50% of the lesson will be charged for.Tutoring cannot continue in the next month, if the previous month’s bill hasn’t been settled in due time.
- In the case of in-person tutoring, an additional cost may be charged if the tutor has to travel more than 20km (round-trip). This arrangement has to take place before sessions commence and you will therefore not be charged if we did not arrange the travel costs with you prior to the tutoring sessions. If you move your tutoring destination, an extra fee may be charged if the tutor has to travel more than 20km round trip.
Packages
- Packages are a bulk of lessons purchased in advance, at a discounted hourly rate.
- The lessons may carry over from month to month, but will expire after the arranged expected date.
- If you are a new client, you may purchase a package after your first lesson.
- In the case of cancellation of less than 3 hours in advance or a no-show (without a valid reason/ excuse), it will count as a whole session.
- In the case of package renewals, tutoring cannot continue if the new package hasn’t been paid for.
- In the case of in-person tutoring, an additional cost for traveling may be charged with the package. This applies if the tutor needs to travel more than 20km round-trip to each lesson.
Terms of Refunds
- Wrong payments, and you as the client, informed us within 7 days after payment has been made.
- A package has been bought, but the lessons haven’t started yet.
- The tutor cannot continue with your lessons – the outstanding amount of lessons we owe you will be refunded.
Monthly Support
- A set amount of hours available to you, at a fixed monthly cost.
- The hours expire at the end of each month.
- The monthly cost is due monthly, prior to lesson commencement.
